Write for us
We welcome clear, original proposals about garden creativity: the choices behind a design, a useful way to observe a space, an overlooked garden idea, or the background to a form or practice. Send proposals through the Contact page.
What makes a good pitch
Tell us the central question, why it will interest a general reader, the main points you would cover and the likely shape of the piece. A strong proposal has a distinct angle, a clear scope and a reason to exist beyond a list of tips.
Subjects and approach
We are interested in garden ideas, making, planting as composition, observation and garden history. Keep the subject specific enough to handle well, explain specialist language, and make clear where advice depends on local conditions. We do not consider copied work, unsupported claims or promotional copy presented as independent editorial.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then describe your proposed subject and any relevant writing experience or published samples. Please do not send a complete article unless requested. A submission is a proposal, not a promise of publication.
